Folsom Fire Station 33 RFP

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

In 2025 the City of Folsom solicited proposals for a new-build fire station to service the communities south of Highway 50.

DBRDS responded with a proposal that balanced the diverse range of architectural styles & materials within the region, with an undulating roofline reflective of the Sierra Mountain ridgeline to the east.

While the RFP was anbandoned due to city budgeting issues, it was an exciting opportunity for us to consider this important civic building typology and a response we felt was crafted for its community & context.
